Mission Statement

The Churdan Public Library is a service agency whose mission is to provide free and open access to all the people of the community. Our main purpose is to organize books and other printed and recorded materials, to stimulate interest and give guidance in the use of these materials regardless of age, sex, race, creed, social, economic, or education. To achieve this purpose, we shall be the source for self education and personal enrichment, develop programs and service for children, and furnish resources for elementary,secondary, and collegiate school students. We will also provide authoritative sources for information needs and make available facilities and resources for community participation.
